libraryfront

We’re located in Perry, at 403 North Washington St. The library has been in it’s current location since 1975, when our building was completed. We are next door to the oldest surviving public building in Taylor County, erected in 1912, the former county jail.

We are within walking distance of the Boys and Girls club, the high school, the middle school, the city park, the Taylor County Historical Society, and Perry’s historic downton area. We have a diverse collection of materials including fiction, non-fiction, reference, young adult, junior, and children’s books. We also have audio books, DVDs, music CDs, graphic novels, magazines, newspapers, historical materials, local school yearbooks, genealogical information, and more.

We strive to provide the very best service to our community, assisting with job searches, applying for state aid, taking online courses, and anything else that is needed.
